To give our team members an idea of the work other teams in the past have done, a video of a team from an elementary school in Beaver Creek, CO that presented their work in 2022 was shown to the team members. The team consisted of five members, four of them fourth graders and one a third grader. It was good to see the video.  

 

We then reviewed what they have learned over the past weeks. They did a great job telling their mentors (Mr. David Charest and Dr. Ali Rafieymehr) what they have learned. Each member was able to tell the team members what the Core Values are and provide examples for those Core Values. 

 

We are getting very close to the Festival 2024 date (December 14, 2024). We will have three more meetings before the Festival. Our team members were asked to start working on what they want to put on the poster board for their presentation on that day. Their task was to brainstorm what they would like to put on their poster board. A team member was tasked to write notes of their brainstorming. The two captains are going to put together a draft of what their team brainstormed.  It was great to see them work with each other to write down (draft) what it should be on the poster.  The following are photos and videos.
